Started as a 3D practice where i modeled the rock plateau with zremesher, to an idea i got from the reference board. Wanted to create an area with waterfalls and a forgotten village with thatch roofs living between the rocks. Changed to a slightly Maya inspired cityscape.
Wasn't sure if the lightning was going to work out with a directional light and an isolated area but decided to go with it anyway.
Assets made in 3D coat, surfaces and textures in blender.
